How we prepare for emergencies

If there is an emergency, such as severe weather or a large-scale incident, we will update this website with news and post on our social media accounts. Normally these accounts are monitored during office hours but during an emergency, there will be extra cover, depending on the nature and level of the incident.

We are not an emergency service like the Police or Fire Service, but we are an emergency responder that works closely with emergency services, including police, fire, and the NHS, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our communities during emergencies.
