What are the Commissioner's responsibilities?
The Commissioner has two main responsibilities:
- to make sure that people are aware of their right to access information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act
- to enforce this right, allowing people access to the information they are entitled to
If you think you haven't received information you are entitled to you can appeal to the Commissioner.
