What are the Commissioner's responsibilities?

The Commissioner has two main responsibilities:

to make sure that people are aware of their right to access information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act
to enforce this right, allowing people access to the information they are entitled to

If you think you haven't received information you are entitled to you can appeal to the Commissioner.
