Local Place Plans

When a registered community body has finished preparing their local place plan, they should fill out our LPP submission checklist to ensure all requirements have been fulfilled. Please send a copy of the checklist along with the LPP. It can be submitted to us either:

• by email to lpp@southlanarkshire.gov.uk (total attachment size limit is 50MB)
• by post to South Lanarkshire Council, Council Headquarters, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA

LPP submission checklist

• You have provided confirmation of your community body’s status
• You have provided contact details
• You have provided evidence of compliance with the requirements of regulation 4 (sent a copy of the LPP to each councillor and any relevant community councils for the LPP area)
• You have provided a statement of community consultation
• You have provided a map* of the boundary for the LPP area
• Do you have a website that hosts your LPP?
