Damaged and new bins

If your blue, burgundy or light grey recycling bin is damaged, we may be able to replace the broken parts rather than give you a new bin.

You can report a damaged bin online using our form. Once you have reported it, we will assess whether we can repair the bin or if it needs to be replaced.

What we can do

We will check the damage and decide the best option. This may include:

• replacing a lid, wheel or axle
• replacing the whole bin if it cannot be repaired

When you will receive your bin or parts

We usually deliver replacement parts or bins within 15 working days, depending on stock availability.
