Barking dog
If barking dogs are causing a disturbance, we can contact the owner and offer advice. If the problem continues, you can apply to your local Justice of the Peace Court for an order requiring the owner to take action.
What you can do now
Speak to the dog owner first if you can. They may be unaware that their dogs barking is affecting you. You can report the noise to us if the issue continues.
Reporting barking
- If the barking is happening now: Call 0303 123 1015 (Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am to 4.15pm)
- After hours (4.30pm to 3am): Call 0800 24 20 24
