Noise from commercial premises

If you feel that noise from a business is too loud, you should first make a formal complaint to the business directly. If the issue continues, report it to us and we will offer advice or visit to assess the situation.

For noise from licensed premises (pubs, late‑night takeaways), we will work with Licensing colleagues.

Reporting commercial noise

If the noise is happening now:

during office hours (Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am to 4.15pm): Call 0303 123 1015
after hours (4.30pm to 3am): Call 0800 24 20 24
