Funding for community groups, charities and businesses

Community groups, charities and businesses may be eligible for grants from various sources including programmes overseen by South Lanarkshire Council.

Funding Scotland

We have teamed up with SCVO’s Funding Scotland to provide a free online funding search for charities, community groups and social enterprises in the South Lanarkshire area. It includes information on over 800 funds and can help you find everything from small grants to funding for big capital projects.

The South Lanarkshire Funding Search lists local South Lanarkshire funds as well as Scottish, UK and overseas opportunities. It also includes local support information and news on what’s happening in the area.

It has many features such as a facility to save searches, create lists of funds, and receive regular alerts on selected searches. It also provides a bulletin tailored to South Lanarkshire organisations.

Registration on the system is free, quick and easy.  To register please visit South Lanarkshire Funding Scotland.
