Library charges
Using the South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture library service is free. Some of our enhanced services and facilities are however chargeable.
South Lanarkshire Libraries offer members the facility to suggest items which are not in stock. This request facility is available where the item you are looking for does not appear in the library catalogue. A request can also be placed by completing the appropriate form in your local library.
After consideration, the item requested may be purchased by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's Libraries. Alternatively the person placing the request may be offered the option of requesting the item from another public library service - an Inter Library Loan.
If we are able to supply the item, there is a charge for this service.
