A fantastic open-air cinema show for all the family!

Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton and Matthew McConaughey all star in this animated musical movie about a singing competition, put together for animals in an attempt to save a theatre.

Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.

Join the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for an electrifying evening of musical contrasts that span centuries, emotions and styles. Featuring works by Haydn, Capperauld and Beethoven, this programme showcases the Orchestra’s versatility and artistry in full force.

The concert begins with Haydn's Symphony No. 80 in D minor, a masterful blend of dramatic tension and playful elegance.

Next, the spotlight turns to the world premiere of Rewired, a dynamic new concerto for soprano saxophone and chamber orchestra written by SCO Associate Composer Jay Capperauld, with the outstanding Lewis Banks as soloist.

The concert concludes with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 in B-flat, a radiant masterpiece often described as his most joyful symphony. Overflowing with energy and wit, this work is a perfect finale to a night of captivating contrasts.

When We Were Young takes the audience back to 1990s Glasgow where gang culture was at its worst. It takes them on a nostalgic and emotional rollercoaster, following the lives of one of the many young teams who polluted the street corners of the city.

This production is both a hilarious and eye-opening look back to 1990s Glasgow and a heart-breaking story of stolen youth.
