The Stone Combo are a dynamic and engaging jazz trio based in Glasgow.
The group are enthusiastic about bringing their love of jazz to the masses. Comprised of Cameron Duff on double bass, Calum Steel on guitar and Charlotte Stuart on vocals, the trio formed during their studies at the University of Glasgow and since leaving, have continued to enjoy working together.
Individually, the members are passionate musicians in their own right and have a great wealth of performing experience. They combine this to provide captivating recitals to a variety of different audiences and settings. Together, The Stone Combo have played in iconic venues including Òran Mór, The Old Course Hotel and the Hunterian Museum.
Bringing to life the musical stylings of Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker and other favourite interpreters of The Great American Songbook, the trio work together to create an accessible gateway for people to find or rediscover their love of jazz music. Additionally, the group’s repertoire includes music from The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Paulo Nutini, ensuring that with every performance, there truly is something for everyone.
The Stone Combo joined Live Music Now Scotland in 2024 and are extremely excited about the journey and experiences ahead.
