A self-conscious, shy young woman marries wealthy widower Maxim de Winter following a whirlwind romance. She moves with Max to his stunning mansion on the beautiful Cornwall estate of Manderley to begin married life.
But she soon discovers that both he and his household are haunted by the memory of his late first wife, the incomparable Rebecca.
A succession of dark and dangerous secrets are unearthed as this tight psychological drama unfolds and we learn who Rebecca really was.
