Medals are an important acknowledgement of the many who performed heroic acts or sacrificed their lives in war. We share the belief of other military museums that medals should remain within families wherever possible. Limited space and resources to store all of the medals we are kindly offered means we can only consider accepting them for particular
reasons such as a rare grouping or a particularly unusual circumstance or story.
