Notice of Examination of Unresolved Issues for the proposed South Lanarkshire Council Local Development Plan 2

On 25 April 2019, South Lanarkshire Council submitted to Scottish Ministers the above proposed plan for examination.

A copy of the proposed plan is available for inspection at the planning authority’s offices at Montrose House, 154 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton ML3 6LB during normal opening hours and at every public library within the plan area.

The Scottish Ministers have appointed Katrina Rice BSc (Hons) DipTP MRTPI, to carry out the examination of the above plan. Additional reporters may be appointed to aid the speedy delivery of the report. The administration of the examination will be carried out by the Scottish Government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division (DPEA).

The planning authority has provided the reporter with a summary of the issues (Schedule 4 Forms) it considers should be assessed at examination. Copies of representations received and further information to support the examination have also been submitted.

In addition, information about the examination, the Schedule 4 Forms, Further Information Requests, Further Information Responses, Documents Lists, any Hearing Statements and, in due course, the Examination Report can be viewed on the DPEA website.
