Exercising your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you. This is a legal right under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

How to make a request

You can ask us for your information by writing to us or by completing the exercising your rights form. You must include proof of your identity.  

What happens next

Requests should be sent to the Data Protection Officer (dp@southlanarkshire.gov.uk). We will respond within the timescale set out in the legislation.
