Data protection
How we process your data protection request
When you ask for your personal information, we aim to make the process clear and straightforward.
What happens first
If your request is unclear, we will contact you as soon as possible to ask for more details.
Timeframes you can expect
Once we receive your request and any extra information we need, such as proof of identity or a fee where required, we usually aim to respond within one month of receiving everything. If our response is going to take longer than one month, then we will write to you within one month and let you know.
What information you will receive
Sometimes, the law means we cannot release certain details. If that happens, we will explain what we cannot provide and why.
Need advice or want to raise a concern
If you need help with your request, want advice, or are unhappy with how we handled it, you can contact our data protection team.
