How do I make a request?

Freedom of Information requests

Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic it will be unlikely that requests are answered within their respective statutory time-scales. We are working hard to ensure that resources are focused on delivering and supporting essential services. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause but  appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented situation.


Requests for information do not have to mention the Freedom of Information Act, but they do need to be made in a recorded and permanent form.

Therefore we have produced an online Information request form to help you achieve this.

Once a request for information has been received, we have 20 working days to supply you with your requested information or let you know why the information cannot be made available. 

If you want to submit a request without using the online form you can do this by writing to the Information Compliance Officer.

When making a request without using the form, please include your name and address and a description of the information that you want.
