Courses and classes
We offer a vast range of courses for children, young people and adults from Ceramics to Musical Instruments tuition.
We are committed to promoting music as a powerful art form and social tool within the community.
Our Music Development Officer encourages development of all music styles, with training and performing opportunities for all ages. We also provide professional development opportunities for local singers, musicians and composers. We are dedicated to attracting the best national and international musicians and performing companies to South Lanarkshire venues. We are also keen to share funding and any other music related knowledge that is required.
We run an ongoing programme of classes, courses, summer schools, workshops, seminars, residencies performances and exciting one-off events. This includes everything from tuition on individual instruments to song writing and samba drumming. Our wide ranging programme is designed to accommodate all needs, ages and abilities. Courses mostly run in four terms, commencing August, October, January and April. However at East Kilbride Arts Centre course terms commence in August, January and April.
Further information is available on our Courses and classes page and in the ACE children's activities programmes.
