Tenant Participation Co-ordination Group (TPCG)

This group oversees all tenant participation activity across South Lanarkshire. Its main role is to make sure tenant views help shape housing policies, services, and priorities. The group meets four times a year to review progress, discuss key issues, and agree what work should happen next.

What the group does

The tenant participation steering group:

  • leads and coordinates tenant participation across all housing areas
  • discusses major housing policies and service issues
  • helps decide what topics tenant groups and forums should focus on
  • checks progress on agreed actions during the year

An annual agenda is agreed in advance. This sets clear priorities and gives everyone a shared focus for discussions and improvements.

Who is involved

The group brings together tenants, staff, and support organisations to make sure a wide range of voices are heard. Members include:

  • the policy manager for housing and technical resources, who chairs the group
  • nominated housing and technical staff representatives
  • sixteen tenant representatives from local housing forums, with two from each area
  • two representatives from the disability partnership housing subgroup
  • the development worker from the south lanarkshire tenant development support project

This mix helps balance tenant experience with professional advice and support.

Getting information about meetings

Meeting dates are planned in advance and listed in the group diary. You can check upcoming meetings if you want to understand what is being discussed or how tenant views are represented at a strategic level.
