Homelessness

Help for young people at risk of homelessness

If you are under 16 and have nowhere to stay, or think you might lose your home, contact Social Work Resources on 0303 123 1008 or visit a local office. We will make sure you are safe and get the right support.

If you are a young person worried about your housing situation, we can help you stay safe, improve family relationships, or plan your next steps.

Support to stay at home

Our Time 2 Talk mediation service helps young people and families work through problems. We aim to prevent you from becoming homeless by supporting better communication and understanding.

We can help you:

  • resolve conflict at home
  • improve relationships and support networks
  • plan a safe and supported move if needed
  • prevent you from leaving home too early
  • return home safely, if everyone agrees

You can complete our online mediation referral form, and a trained mediator will contact you.
