Elections and voting

Housing and homelessness

You can make a housing application, pay council rent and report a council home repair online. You can view your rent account using myaccount.

You can also find out what to do if you are threatened with homelessness. If you would like to speak to someone, phone 0303 123 1012 (option 5). If you need somewhere to stay and our offices are closed, phone 0800 242424.

Licencing and registration

You can request a copy birth, death, marriage or civil partnership certificate, apply for a licence, view parades and processions and find out how to register a birth, register a death, register a stillbirth or arrange a naming ceremony, civil marriage or civil partnership, or a citizenship ceremony online.

Planning and building standards

You can view planning and building warrant applications and associated documents in our public access portal.

Roads and transportation

You can apply for and renew a blue badge, request equipment and adaptations for your home or disabled parking bay and make enquiries about caring, fostering and adoption online.

Waste, grounds and street cleaning enquiries

You can view your bin collection calendar, find out what goes in your bins, order new bins, book a slot at your household waste and recycling centre, report a damaged bin, arrange a bulk uplift, pay for a garden waste permit, report missed bins, fly tipping and issues with litter, vandalism, graffiti or parks and play areas online.
